After about 10 years, Pete Moore or “Lejazz” or “Pete De Vit” is still playing records at La Raza. Raised on a diet of Jungle from the age of 13 onto Jazz, Funk, Soul, Dancehall, Techno, House and anything else with an off centre vibe.
He’ll cover as many styles as possible in one evening, with the dance-floor always the number one priority. Expect something different to the rest of the music in the city.

PDG operates in the liminal space where legacy UK underground sounds blend with expansive rhythms and textures. PDG Cut his teeth in Liverpool’s club circuit, he moved from local floors to wider networks, he ran the Less Effect club night and became truly immersed in soundsystem culture along the way. That DIY, community focused and sonically experimental ethos continues to underpin everything choice of track and beat.
Whilst PDG’s roots are in the UK underground, his sound has grown. He has embraced the warmth and swing of disco, soul, and 4×4; PDG favours a grounded groove, sublime musicality, and a persistent energy over rigid genre lines. Whilst drawing from a wide breadth of eras and scenes his sets explore deep percussive rhythms and move across rich sound scales into more expansive choices; however, the folk on the dancefloor are always at the forefront of any track choice. Whether in an intimate room or a larger space, the approach remains consistent: soulful, fluid, and dialled into the dancers.
